On Monday (16th Oct), my group of friends went to Alton Towers for the day as our college was closed due to Open Events. One of our friends has a family member in the emergency services, so we got our tickets for £25 each which was super cheap and the theme park was near enough dead. There were very few people there and the majority were families with young children who looked like they hadn't even started school yet, which meant we could get on the bigger rides with ease.
I had the pleasure of driving four of us and we met our other two friends there. We arrived at about 10:30 and all the rides closed at 4, so we had plenty of time to enjoy them before the park shut. We went on the Spinball ride, Oblivion, 13, Nemesis, Rita, the rapids and Enterprise. I'm a huge fan of rollercoasters so I loved the whole day, and we managed to get my best friend Phoebe (who hates rides) on all of them!
As you can see, it was all Halloween themed and it was really cute and Autumnal. I wish we could have gone to Scarefest (the big event they hold for Halloween), but it would have definitely been more expensive and our queuing times would have been much longer!
